The family I had growing up is all but a memory now. Children move away. We start our own families. But it's the trip we make home again that is so important. Family can be crazy and infuriating. But it's also what matters most. Sometimes it takes a lifetime to figure that out. John Grogan

Halloween

Here are a few pictures from our trunk or treat at Unity Park in Ivins. Grandpa,as an EMT (how original) and Vivian, as Sleeping Beauty. Kernan was a pirate but left before I got her picture. PJ, Nathalya and Jason are ready to go home! I made Chili, of course, and it was a rather warm night for Halloween.

Wheeler Farm

More pictures of Wheeler Farm! That's Abi with the mommy
pig.

Little Brother

Went north to see Jeff for the first time in 6 years or so. He just moved out of an apartment into a new home. It is a nice cozy place and he loves it. Jeff had a fight with some wasps living in his fireplace when he first got there, but the problem is solved and he is getting settled. It was great to see him.

Also, spent some time with Tony, Jenn and family at the Wheeler Farm. This farm is in Murray, Utah on 9th East and around 6200 South (across the street from where I was raised. It was beautiful with ponds, geese, sheep, cows and Pigs - even the babies were out to play. The kids had fun and it was very enjoyable.

2008 Family Reunion

Our family reunion this year was held in Fish Lake, which holds memories of camping when our kids were young. Those memories were shared with their children, our grandchildren. We took them salamander hunting, on a nature hike, and fishing in the stream. It was fun to see the cousins having fun together. What a great group of kids!!! We will do it again, soon I hope.
